DVD & Video Information for Faculty: Finding DVDs and Streaming Videos

Log into myUSM Campus Portal
Click on Academics; Click on Libraries; Click on Libraries Website;
Under URSUS Catalog Click Advanced Search; 
and Type in your Keyword (Title, Author, or Subject)

Videorecordings are kept at the Circulation desks.

USM POR Media - Glickman library 2nd floor circulating items. Students, faculty, and staff can check out these videos.

USM POR Circulation Dept.  - Glickman library 1st floor, non-circulating items. Students cannot check out these videos.

USM LAC Media - LAC 1st floor, both circulating & non-circulating. Students can check out circulating videos.

This form can be used by faculty to:

• Request a DVD from USM's Non-Circulating collection
• Request a DVD from USM's Circulating collection
• Request that USM Libraries purchase a DVD
• Request that a DVD be added to Electronic Reserves (ARES)
• Request that a streaming video be added to Electronic Reserves (ARES)
• Request that a DVD be placed on physical reserve in a USM Library

Log into myUSM Campus Portal

and Type in your Keyword (Title, Author, or Subject)

If USM Libraries has a streaming video title available, the Library cannot put the streaming video directly into Electronic Reserves.  Please be sure to put in a request that the Library purchase the DVD of the video.
