Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association, 7th edition

APA recently released its first new edition in almost a decade.  USM Libraries has both the 6th and 7th editions available, and there are links for resources supporting both below.

The "shortcut" resources in most of our databases, Onesearch, etc. are based on the 6th edition at this point. You should keep this in mind if you are required/want to use 7th.

Looking for a shortcut?

Many of our databases provide you with help formatting your citations according to APA, MLA, or other citation styles.  In the EBSCO databases (CINAHL, PsycInfo, Academic Search Complete), look for the CITE icon to the right of the database record.
