Getting Started


Your USM ID card serves as your library card. All students should obtain a USM ID card at one of the Campus Card Offices. It should already be activated for library use when you receive it from the Card Office. If it is not working properly, stop by the main desk at the USM Library on your campus. The staff will help resolve the issue.

 If you are a Distance Learner and only taking online classes or are taking classes as part of the Early College program, you should have received a USM ID card. If you did not receive one, contact the Card Office to request an IDThe Library Barcode is the number beginning with 25022... or 218.....
