Open to the Public and located on the UNE Portland Campus, the MWWC (Maine Women Writers Collection) has a special collection of Artist Books by Female Artists with ties to the State of Maine.

Open to the Public and by Appointment, the Rare Books collection at Bowdoin College has a stellar offering of Artist Books and other rare literary works.

"Special Collections & Archives holds more than 50,000 rare and special books, including incunables from the advent of printing, finely printed and finely bound works, and a growing collection of artists' books.
