ESP 102: Fundamentals of Environmental Science: Our library session

Today's Session

Today, we will be talking about using library resources to find peer reviewed articles and cite sources in APA. By the end of this session, you should be able to:

  • Understand and identify peer-reviewed research
  • Use the library website to find journals and databases relevant to Environmental Science
  • Recognize different types of sources and use citation resources to cite them in APA

On your own, choose one of the following databases to look for a peer reviewed article on the relationship between coal ash and health hazards

After 5 minutes, find a person who picked a different database than you and compare your searches
