The University of Southern Maine Library provides a full range of library services to students taking in-person and online classes. The goal of the libraries is to support the research needs of distance learners as well as those students taking classes on the Portland, Gorham or Lewiston campus.
To access online resources, students must have a USM ID card and have their card activated at the library. Contact the USM Card Office and once you have your USM ID card, contact the Libraries at 207-780-4270 to have your Library Barcode (218... or 250.... number on your USM ID card) activated.
