Pivot-RP for Funding Opportunities

Pivot is a database of searchable funding opportunities from a wide range of funders (governments, corporations, professional societies, foundations). You can find research funding, scholarships, travel and conference funding, and more! Geared toward the higher education community. All USM faculty, staff, and students can create an account. 

Step 1: Create Account

Once you are on the account creation page: 

1. Click on "Use Email Address/Create Password"
2. Click on the "Create my account" button.
3. If you already have an account, click on the "Already have an account? Sign in here" link. 

Step 2: Claim your profile.

Once you are logged in to your new Pivot account:

1. Click the down triangle next to your name in the upper right of the page and select "claim profile". .  
2. A list of potential profile matches may be displayed. 
3. Locate your profile from the results list and click the “This is me” button to the right of the profile name.
4. If no results display or none of the possible matching profiles is yours. Click the Create a Profile link that is located either in the center of the page (when there are no results) or to the left of the results list.
