The learning objective of this unit is to explain the importance of encyclopedias, dictionaries, almanacs, and other sources, generally refered to as Reference materials. Both free sources (i.e. Wikipedia) and more traditional sources (i.e. Oxford English Dictionary) will be discussed. Print vs. online access will be addressed.
