OneSearch is the default search box on the USM Library website and is a great place to start your research because it searches nearly all of the library's resources using a single search box (Basic) or with multiple boxes (Advanced). You can easily apply limits to refine your search. If you want a specific database, you can skip OneSearch and go directly to the Databases.
Did you know you can use your AOTA student membership login to access the official AOTA Journal Databases for OT Students on the AOTA website? It accesses the American Journal of Occupational Therapy, British Journal of Occupational Therapy, and the Canadian Journal of Occupational Therapy. Great membership benefit!
You can search for books at USM or in other libraries by using the links below. If you're not sure how, Ask Us! Most occupational therapy books are shelved in the RM 735 call number range.
You can try to borrow videos or DVDs from other libraries that appear to offer such loans in URSUS or MaineCat. Use the Request option and your library barcode number. And in the WorldCat database, you can request videos using ILLiad under "See more details about locating this item." You'll need an ILLiad account to proceed with your request.
