The LibrarySearch catalog is the catalog for the University of Maine System and a few other libraries. You can find:
If you can't find it in the LibrarySearch catalog, try the MaineCat catalog.
The first place to look for a book is the LibrarySearch catalog.
e.g. Look for a book that is in the USM Portland Library.
(Click the circle next to Library Catalog. Search for "American Revolution" Use quotation marks so it searches for the term. Refine Material Type to Books in English.)
Refine the search in the left column.
Locating a book at the Glickman Library (Portland).
Requesting a book from a different LibrarySearch Library because USM doesn't own it or the book is checked out.
Type in your Last Name and Library barcode number (218.... or 250...)
Select the Library where you want to pick up the book.
The Library will email you when the book has arrived.
Go to the main desk at that Library (first floor) and tell them you have a book on Hold.
Return the book to any USM Library & we'll send it back to the lending Library.
If you sign into your Primo (LibrarySearch) account, you'll see the book has been Requested for you.
You can cancel the Request, if you need to.
If you want to renew a book, you can sign into your Primo account and click to renew.
