  •  Effectively convert a research question into a "search strategy"
  •  Know how to perform a search in a database and refine it
  •  Understand Plagiarism and Citing Techniques
  •  Understand the difference between Paraphrasing and Quoting

Other useful Skills

  •  Use OneSearch to do a "known item search"
  •  Use "document type" limits in CINAHL and PsycInfo in order to find evidence-based literature.
