The National Center for Transgender Equality advocates to change policies and society to increase understanding and acceptance of transgender people. In the nation’s capital and throughout the country, NCTE works to replace disrespect, discrimination, and violence with empathy, opportunity, and justice.

Over decades the National LGBTQ organizers led by using knowledge, passion, and energy to lay the groundwork for the LGBTQ rights movement of the 21st century. There's a focus on queering democracy, queering equity, queering faith, and building power.

NOW is a multi-issue, multi-strategy organization that takes a holistic approach to women’s rights. Their priorities are winning economic equality and securing it with an amendment to the U.S. Constitution that will guarantee equal rights for women; championing abortion rights, reproductive freedom and other women’s health issues; opposing racism; fighting bigotry against the LGBTQIA community; and ending violence against women.
