We Underestimate the Impact of Generative AI

Generative AI will change our understanding of learning and work. It will require us to master new critical awareness skills for the media and information we consume. In this discussion we will explore where we are with Generative AI, how we got here as a culture, and where we may be going. Once the source data with which AI builds predictive models becomes proprietary commodities in the hands of businesses, political parties, governments, and universities, we will need to moor ourselves to a new social contract or risk drifting in seas of alternative facts.
